Casey Jones, 19, of Bethesda; Caleb Taylor, 19, of Rockville; and Arden Gormley, 18, of an unknown address, were taken into custody after allegedly breaking into a home on Massachusetts Avenue and stealing property and a vehicle, according to Montgomery County Police.

Investigators say the trio is responsible for a burglary wave stretching from April to December 2024, targeting homes across Bethesda and stealing valuables and cars.

The crime spree included multiple burglaries, attempted burglaries, and auto thefts across town, including incidents on Avalon Drive, Mohican Place, Cromwell Drive, and Ramsgate Road.

Detectives recovered evidence linking the suspects to even more crimes after executing search warrants. Ultimately, they were charged in connection with over a dozen burglaries and thefts.

The three were ultimately charged with multiple counts of first-degree burglary, second-degree burglary, auto theft, theft and related offenses.

Despite the severity of the accusations, two of the suspects are already free.

Taylor was released on an unsecured personal bond, while Gormley was let go on his own recognizance.

Only Jones remains behind bars at the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit, where he is being held without bond.
